The 2016 LA Film Festival has announced its Buzz and Limelight sections, which will include the world premieres of Jim O'Hanlon's "A Hundred Streets" starring Idris Elba[1] and New Line's summer horror movie "Lights Out."
Produced by Film Independent, the nonprofit arts organization that also produces the Film Independent Spirit Awards, the 2016 LA Film Festival runs June 1-9 at the ArcLight Cinemas. The full film lineup will be announced on April 26.
"In the Buzz section L.A. audiences will be treated to a group of highly curated films fresh off of their world premieres at recent film festivals," said festival director Stephanie Allain[2]. "The Limelight section presents unique cinema-going experiences from a varied range of feature films with noteworthy talent across an eclectic range of stories."
