After the events that went down in the battle of Metropolis, Batman[3] surely wouldn't just let someone he thinks as a villain go. Sure, he's well trained, well financed, and downright spooky, but at the end of the day none of that means much when your opponent has heat vision and super strength. And while everyone has their own personal favorite, Batman, Superman[4], and Wonder Woman[5] are typically considered the three pillars of the DC Universe[6]. As it turns out, he has a few methods up his sleeve.

Snyder also denied suggestions the character of Lex Luthor, Batman's traditional nemesis, had been rewritten to allow the casting of 32-year-old Jesse Eisenberg[8], when the villain is usually painted as an older figure. Using green K on Superman (or any Kryptonian) will induce pain, sickness, and ultimately death if the exposure remains constant.
While fans may be disappointed that Bale won't join Snyder's new take on the classic character, it's encouraging that the director is so committed to building a new universe that includes other heroes.
"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" composer Hans Zimmer was about composing the score for the new movie after working on "The Dark Knight[9]" trilogy.
Ultimately, Snyder made the decision to double down on separating the two films by not hiring actors from the Nolan trilogy. Not only because she's a major female superhero making her long overdue first movie appearance, but also because Gal Gadot[10] has no previous cinematic version of Wonder Woman to base her performance on.
