Alex Morgan continued the USWNT victory tour on Friday with an appearance on "CBS This Morning." The star forward talked about her new memoir "Breakaway: Beyond The Goal," winning the Women's World Cup, her hopes for the growth of soccer and women's sports and her status as a role model.
And if that's just not enough Morgan for you, she is also the star of a special this weekend on Disney XD called "Becoming Alex Morgan." Produced by LeBron James, the feature looks back at her journey in becoming one of the most famous soccer players in the world.
Becoming Alex Morgan Premieres September 13 at 7PM ET on Disney XD and September 16 at 9PM ET on ESPN2.
But that's not all! As she's in New York -- or because greatness just recognizes greatness -- Morgan just couldn't stay away from Serena Williams' semifinal match at the US Open against Roberta Vinci. She posted a picture -- and her encouraging words for Serena -- from her center court seat.
