Alex Morgan will be featured in Disney XD and ESPN Films' upcoming inspirational athlete profile documentary series.
"Becoming: Alex Morgan" will premiere on Sunday, September 12 at 7 p.m. on Disney XD. The show will take a look at the challenges and obstacles that Morgan, who plays for the Portland Thorns, faced in her rise to international stardom with the U.S. Women's National Team.
Morgan was a breakout star for the U.S. Women's National Team at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup and won her first FIFA Women's World Cup title this summer in Canada.
