Australia's Jack Miller hopes this weekend's Indianapolis Grand Prix marks the turning point in his rookie MotoGP season.
The championship returns after a month's break for round 10 of 18 at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Miller has had an indifferent start to his career in the premier class, having secured four top-15 finishes but just as many DNFs.
A solid 15th-place in Germany last start puts him in good stead for the race, at a track where he took pole position and finished on the podium last year in Moto3.
"I am looking forward to starting this second half of the season," the 20-year-old said.
"The bike should be more or less what we left off in Sachsenring and it is going to be quite interesting after a decent result there.
"I really like Indianapolis and also Brno (next round) so I am looking forward to the next two races.
"I like the fact that they are really close together too, because it means we can get a lot of playtime in a short amount of time."
