"Wonder Woman" Movie Sneak Peek


Jenkins is the first woman to direct a DC or Marvel movie, in a movie with DC's first leading heroine, yet it still looks like Snyder's universe. However, in 2017 her days in a supporting role will be over and she'll star in a standalone origin story all her own.

What gives the upcoming Wonder Woman film great potential in terms of how it can impact the current cultural landscape is the fact that the character is considered by many as a feminist icon.

According to Johns, "People[1] don't know her origin like they know Superman's origin and Batman's origin".

And now, they can prove it. Last night's special also pulled the curtain back on the first official footage from Wonder Woman.

He adds: "She's an Amazon warrior". Entertainment Company. The movie is scheduled to debut June 23, 2017.

She completed the whole look with knee-high boots, bulletproof bracelets, sword and Athena's legendary shield.

It is thought that a similar story line may occur in the movie, though set in a different time period.

Writer, director, actor and comic book enthusiast Kevin Smith, who was one of the hosts of the programme, also elaborated on the character's cultural impact. Although Marvel has lofty plans with "Captain Marvel", "Wonder Woman" will hit theaters first.

We also glimpse Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman's ol' love interest in the comics. More movies will be on the way in the future including the likes of the Justice League[2] and Wonder Woman.

Patty Jenkins (Monster) is directing Wonder Woman with a script from Jason Fuchs (Pan) and William M. Marston(Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Justice League: The New Frontier).

"We're going to see her coming of age, the entire history, what's her mission", said[3] Gal Gadot, the actress who will portray Wonder Woman in the movie.
