Earlier tonight, 20th Century Fox held the first two fan screenings for the Deadpool movie. The screenings were held at Deadpool fan events in New York and Los Angeles.
As first reported by Comicbook.com[1], fans thought they were going to an event that would just show some footage from the film, but the entire film was actually shown as a surprise.
At the New York screening, Ryan Reynolds showed up to introduce the movie. At the Los Angeles screening, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee, TJ Miller (Weasel), director Tim Miller, screenwriters Rhett Rheese and Paul Wernick, and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) were in attendance.
The first early reactions to the film have already started to surface on social media, and the early feedback is overwhelmingly positive. We've embedded some of the first reactions below.
Well, hell, you guys. They went and made an amazingly awesome, fun, exciting #Deadpool[2] movie. It's outstanding.
