The "Kids' Choice Sports" awards show is adding a tribute to America's new soccer superstars.
The telecast will open with a celebration of the World Cup champion U.S. women's soccer team. Carli Lloyd, Hope Solo and Alex Morgan are among the players set to appear, the Nickelodeon channel said Wednesday.
Other athletes taking part in the 90-minute show include Derek Jeter, Lindsey Vonn and Mo'Ne Davis, the channel said.
The awards, hosted by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, invited youngsters to vote on which teams and players will get to claim an orange blimp trophy. Music and competition are part of the show's mix.
Nickelodeon's "Kids' Choice Sports" airs at 8 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.
