MotoGP News: MotoGP: Loris Baz: No idea what might happen - crash.net

MotoGP rookie Loris Baz says he doesn't know any more than what he's read in the media, regarding the investigation by Swiss police into Forward Racing owner Giovanni Cuzari.

Cuzari denies the tax-related allegations, but some are already questioning whether Forward will be present at the upcoming Indianapolis round from August 7-9.

Asked about Cuzari's arrest by the official MotoGP website, Baz replied: "I try not to think about it and remain neutral; I'm focusing on enjoying my week off. I will continue on with my weeks of training, as I would do if nothing had happened.

"To be quite honest, I do not know anything more than what has been said in the media. I have no idea what might happen. As we get closer to Indianapolis I'll think about it more. I'm convinced that we will find a solution that sees us to the season's end."

Baz has enjoyed an impressive half-season in MotoGP and is currently second in the Open class standings. However the current uncertainty a lso means 2016 discussions have been delayed.

"With what is happening in regards to the team's situation, it delays things a little because my main goal is to stay with Forward in 2016," he said. "I hope that with the remainder of the season we can keep working hard and getting more solid results so hopefully I will be able to have a good bike for next season."

Stefan Bradl races alongside Baz in Forward's MotoGP team, with Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri competing in Moto2.
