Alex Morgan is heating up just in time for the United States women's national soccer team.
Morgan scored her first goal of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup on Monday night, helping Team USA defeat Colombia 2-0 in the Round of 16. Morgan seems to have shaken off injury and a slow start to the tournament just when Team USA needs her most.
Morgan's goal is an expected moment of success for a player who has become perhaps the face of women's soccer in the United States and around the world. The 25-year-old helps win games with goals, but her head-turning good looks also help her capture admirers' hearts.
Morgan is well on her way to soccer and pop stardom. Her skills on the field and on social media are helping her down that path.
